A long way to having a National HIV Coming out Day here in NZ. Despite that our programmes promotes that. There are fewer people who works or involved in HIV organisation that is actively promoting 'Coming out of the closet" as I describe it in my book @sohiesworldthejourneys.com The only way I was going to find freedom.
In saying ...so it isn't easy to wear a t-shirt saying I am HIV. There are a whole other issues that needs addressing starting with women as living with HIV has affected women physically, mentally on social platform.
For those who have taken a step to coming out there is very little support that has not had a follow up with strong emphasis on change. That in it's self has caused many to shy away..
Sophie's 0800 IS NOT A CURE wants all the answers in between have a voice. Choices in life the next best thing to piece of mind of the day.
