Media World AIDS DAY 2013 New Zealand & around the world

Aung San Suu Kyi has launched a zero discrimination campaign in Melbourne to mark World Aids Day.
The Burmese Nobel Peace Prize-winner set the goal of a world with zero new HIV infections and zero AIDS-related deaths.
And at the Vatican, Pope Francis also called on Catholics around the world to pray for people suffering from HIV and AIDS.
More than 35 million people were estimated to be living with HIV last year.
Among them is HIV advocate and author Sophie Jayawardene, who has been HIV positive for 25 years.
She says attitudes towards AIDS haven't changed much in 25 years, and it's not taken as seriously as it once was.
